Under the theme “Regenerating public relations and strategic communication in the face of the new global order: are we ready for this challenge?”, EUPRERA 2026 brought together an international community of researchers and practitioners to exchange perspectives on current developments in public relations and strategic communication.

The presentation provided a concise overview of the context and current stage of one strand of PubDiplo’s work. As the project is still underway, detailed analyses and conclusions will be shared in future academic publications.

PubDiplo is a four-year Franco–Hong Kong collaborative research project jointly led by the DICEN laboratory in France and the School of Communication at Hong Kong Baptist University, with support from the ANR and Hong Kong’s Research Grants Council.
